The fuzzy logic of love

  • Man: I love you :)
  • Woman: I know. You've said that a thousand times :)
  • Man: If I say it 999 times, will you feel less loved?
  • Woman: A hairy man with one less hair doesn't make him bald. So does a bald man with a single hair left won't make him hairy.
  • Man: Uhm, then when is the man bald or hairy?
  • Woman: When everyone agrees that he is.
  • Man: But everyone's opinion varies.
  • Woman: Exactly. And so do the bald, the hairy man and love, they come in degree.
  • Man: Oh, you're so complicated, darling but I love you. :)
  • Woman: I know. You've said that 1001 times. :)
Can you accuse someone for being a snob without being snobbish yourself?

What’s the use of death for the dead?

How real your virtual life is?

Does ur virtual life reflect real life? Does unfollowing/unfriend a person in virtual life mean unfollow/unfriend that person in real life? What about closing your Twitter account? Is it mean you stop listening and discussing? Would it be better to block instead of closing your account? Or is it unethical say, for a president or a minister or other public figure to block his opponent’s reply tweets?

Forgiveness

Could we ever forgive someone because of who they are?

Or we can only forgive someone because of what they’ve done?

Just realized for an n times, that this world is full of human beings. And they’re all alive!

being rational vs being intuitive

What does being rational mean? and what about being intuitive mean? Is one trait preferable than the other? What is the relation between the two trait? Is one influence another?

superdupermonkey says:

rational is leaning on the ratio, intuitive is leaning on intuition … the first is the work of the mind and the other the product of the heart … why compare? … it’s like comparing: what does the eye do? and what do you have legs for? which one is better? which one do you prefer? … i don’t think i need to continue …

About being right

Why do people need to be right? Does it have any connection with the sense of justice? Or is it, at the very root, our innate ability to survive?

superdupermonkey says:

what is RIGHT anyway? … could it be: being in the mainstream? … if that’s the answer, then being right means you’re safely with the crowd, not against …

what is JUSTICE? … that you get your portion of what the others get? … or could it be that you want to be exactly LIKE the others? … then the connection is clear … to be right is to be WITH the mainstream, to GET your justified portion, or to be LIKE the mainstream …

what is SURVIVE? … is it to just stay alive? .. in what sense? … phyisically? … spiritually? … or does it mean to be able to continue being part of the mainstream? being part of the RIGHT? … or does it mean continue getting the same portion or continue being the same being like the mainstream?

THE ANSWERS LIE WITHIN THE QUESTIONS …
